The GMAT exam measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that you have developed in your education and work. It does NOT measure:
Your knowledge of business, your job skills, Specific content in your undergraduate or first university course work, your abilities in any other specific subject area, or subjective qualities—such as motivation, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
The SAT is a globally recognized college admission test that lets you show colleges what you know and how well you can apply that knowledge. It tests your knowledge of reading, writing and math — subjects that are taught every day in high school classrooms.

About the TELP:
The Test of English Language Proficiency (TELP) is a test of written English and assesses the academic English skills necessary for students to function well in US undergraduate or graduate level classes. It is paper-based and does not have a speaking component. The test includes the following areas: listening comprehension, structure, and vocabulary & reading comprehension.
It is also advisable that students majoring in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) take the TELP on a regular basis in order to monitor their English language development.
Registration and Administration:
You must register for the TELP at least a week in advance;
The fee is C$ 50.
The test will be given the first Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
